Song Mood: Our House by Madness, just because.  I remember going to friend’s house across the street and listening to the record.  We listened to Michael Jackson’s Billy Jean and other records my friend’s sister had along with other records I was given and we would talk abuot UFO sightings and about the scary and dangerous Gordon Kahl leader of the Posse Comitatus group, a hateful rightwing group that was against paying taxes.  But Our House is a bit of madness, as our country, as our world is.  My world is as usual chaos.

I worked 2 ten hour shifts at home so far.  Tomorrow will be my third and Friday my fourth.  My work compels me to stay focused.  I think that next week, I’ll just knock out the 4 ten hour shifts right away.

So tonight, I write in my journal, it’s my fun thing.

This whole social distancing, is different.  It’s different from what I do, I social distance while being in a crowd.  Now I’m social distancing without people around.  Tomorrow I will have to go the store as I didn’t plan out Friday again.  I will just have to buy big tubs of hummus and big boxes of Triscuts.  But while I’m there, since I’m not going out, definitely buy shrimp and figure out how to make shrimp scampi, my favorite thing at Red Lobster.  I have been doing so well with not eating fried foods, that I should not go to Long John Silvers, which was my go to last year for Lent.

One of the posts I have been thinking about posting but didn’t was about love.

Love is knowing when someone is going to laugh at something in a show, because you know them enough and have watched enough television with them.

I’m trying to get as many episodes of Father Brown done as possible.  As of March 31st BBC shows won’t be on Netflix.  They will be if not already on Britbox, which I will get after March 31st.  Netflix only had 6 seasons of Father Brown.  There are 8 in total.  I download the five collections of short stories written by G K Chesterton.  At the beginning of each show, it says based of the character.  Which means besides Flambeau, no other character in the series will be in the original short stories.
The series is very fantastical.  If as many murders happened in real life, the world population would be half it’s size.  Which is why next up on my list of audiobooks is Lucy Worsley’s The Art of the English Murder which goes over why we love murder mysteries so much.

Currently I’m listening to Jusi Adler-Olsen’s Victim 2117.  Which I am thoroughly enjoying.  I thought the last book may be the last as how somewhat disjointed it was.  It was a book that chronicled Rose’s mental breakdown and the rest of Department Q trying to help her while solving a murder.

Tomorrow will much like today.  Work.  Walk around the lake.  Watch Father Brown.  Go to bed.  Wake up.  Repeat.  But now I’m formulating a plan for the weekend where I stay at home again.  I will figure out a way forward for me to follow.  The first step is to realize that no matter what I do, certain events will happen.  Second step is to do what I can to weather whatever happens with style.

I am in the habit of buying Moleskine journals.  I think they are great.  However, I'm more of a typer than a writer.  And if I ever wrote in my Moleskines as much as I journaled on my computer and for my blogs, I would fill volumes.

Song Mood: Funky Town by Lipps Inc.  As a strange thing happened as I was walking around Wally-world for no reason.  That song had been playing on the radio.  One of the workers of the store was singing the song, after it had played and then I sang it while I was looking for stuff.  Other shoppers were singing it after I passed them.  It was like a chain Funky Town performance in a store.
I am super tired as I am always during this time of the year tired.  Today, I felt a lot of pain in my back and sides, kind of like where my gallbladder used to be.  I stopped eating fried foods a little over a week ago.  Who knows.
I know I’m sounding like a broken record, but something needs to change.  Tomorrow needs to be a new day.
I went to the writer’s group tonight, not that many since the facilitator wasn’t there.
Tomorrow will be a day for taxes.  Then I will attempt to do some writing.  I came up with an idea for the project I’m working on.  Glum triggers Milo’s gift and in the process, M…

It’s been a long day.  I woke up at 4:30am, hungry.
I went to Walmart to do the weekly grocery shopping.  I went to the lake.  I didn’t go out really.  Tomorrow will much of the same.
I didn’t get much of anything done, except for getting groceries and exercise.
I did watch The Pale Horse, a movie on Prime based off of Agatha Christie’s novel by the same name.  I thoroughly enjoyed it.  I haven’t read the novel and at this time I’m not sure I would have time, or it would be down the list by a lot.  I was most impressed with the wife in this little mini series that was the length of a movie.  The way she knifed a pillow, just gave me the chills.  And I thought that if I ever married Agatha Christie, I would sleep with one eye open.  She plotted out thousands of deaths within the hundreds of books she published.  I have a feeling that if I were married to her, she would have me on a leash and I would be happy because I would actually learn how to write mysteries.  Rufus Sewell has to b…
