Song mood: We Don’t Talk About Bruno from Encanto. I just watched that movie. It was phenomenal. I loved the movie. It would movie that I would only watch with a significant other. It’s just a movie that I got emotional while watching. Lin Manuel Miranda is a musical genius. I enjoyed Hamilton on Disney+, I wish I would have tried to get tickets when Hamilton was in Omaha.
There is a strange thing happening with my Prime. What it is, under the recently watched, it showing shows that I didn’t watch yet. The other day, it showed that I watched Queens of Mystery. I thought it was odd. I haven’t watched that show in a while. Then I discovered that they just released season two for Acorn. So then I started watching the show.
Anyway, I thought that maybe someone has access to my Prime. I was a bit spooked out about that thought. I have decided it must be a new algorithm. I had watched the first season. Prime recognizes that and then when a new season comes out, it puts the show on recently watched to let me know that it is available.
Queens of Mystery is like my guilty pleasure. It definitely is a cozy. This season, it looks like Sergent Matilda Stone is dropping Dr. McDreamy. Who got re-engaged while she wasn’t looking. And dropping him for an older guy, who worships her.
Matilda’s eyebrows are like ginormous caterpillars. Anyways.
I have been journaling the last few days. I am still making progress. It’s going to take me time to pick up the pieces of myself enough to write. But the thing is, I want to. I want to write. I want to pick up the pieces of myself.
I want to produce stories that I can enjoy. I want to write a few stories that someone else may enjoy.
One story idea that has been running around in my head. You have two people in different countries who feed off of each other on the videos that they make and then the guy disappears. And somehow the woman gains possession of his phone. When she goes on his social media, she discovers that he has a hundred videos in his drafts folder that haven’t been posted. And ten of those videos have clues. She uses the video clues to find him.
I have around twenty-five unposted videos. I think it comes down to timing, something I’m bad at. Sometimes I’m afraid the videos might send out the wrong message when I thought it was humorous. Like there is one where I’m flipping off the camera. But I flip off people the French way, with two fingers.
There are pictures of Churchhill when he first started out as Prime Minister where he is flipping off people. Until a secretary told him: if it is the backside of his hand, he is flipping people off and if it is the palm-side, then it’s the peace sign.
It’s an idea for a story.
Anyway, heading into weekend mode. I will continue to journal for ideas. I will continue reading A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. And I will probably watch a few mystery movies this weekend.
